BIOMICS Twinning project, a partnership between EMBL, GIMM, CRG and ETH Zurich, funded by EU, is running a Hackathon at EMBL-EBI in February 2026.

Participants will spend 2.5 days working in small groups with diverse expertises on programming and data science problems, paired with mentors.

Key information (and see the website https://biomics.bacpop.org/):

  • Hackathon dates: 23rd-25th February 2026.
  • Location: EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), Hinxton (Cambridgeshire), United Kingdom.
